Waxing Lyrical About Our Beeswax Candles!

We have so much fun making these candles and it's a wonderful way to use some of our beeswax!

Did you know beeswax candles have several advantages over paraffin candles? Not just their lovely, sweet, honey fragrance but also a longer burn time and a cleaner, brighter light with minimal soot. They are a natural, renewable, and biodegradable product free from toxic chemicals, supporting beekeepers and the environment. These candles also emit negative ions which help to neutralise pollutants and bad odours, helping to alleviate allergy and asthma symptoms.  Not just a pretty candle!

We collect the wax as a natural byproduct of honey harvesting. It is melted and passed through a fine filter to remove impurities and then poured in to moulds. The finishing touch is hand painting the bees! It's been a wonderful way to spend the weekend.
